Alan Joseph Hunter was a British artist, both fan and pro. He was one of the wheels of the Fantasy Art Society (and editor of the Fantasy Art Society Newsletter and the Fantasy Art Society Leaflet), art consultant for Nebula Science Fiction, and contributor to many fanzines including Algol, Banana Wings, and Science Fiction Chronicle. He worked primarily in black & white.
