The '''Turku Science Fiction Society''', a [[club]] at the University of Turku in Finland, founded January 27, 1976, when 24 fans came together. The Next year they started a [[clubzine]] called ''[[Spin]]'', which lasted at least 17 years and many editors. ''Spin'' was the first [[fanzine]] in Finland and it was first edited by [[Markku Haapio]].
