His WW2 draft card gave his name as Neil Aloyisious ''(sic)'' Lafferty, born 25 Apr 1917 in Brooklyn, nearest relative being his father Neil Aloyisious Lafferty.

The BIRLS Death File says he served in the Army 11 Feb 1942–25 Oct 1945 and died 6 Nov 1993.

In the 1950 census he was working as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service; he was married and had one son.
