View source for Readercon Small Press Award

The Small Press Science Fiction Awards are presented annually by the [[Small Press Writers and Artists Organization]] ([[SPWAO]]), and chosen by members of the organization, subject to ratification by a panel of judges.

The awards have been given in a variety of categories, including Novel, Short Work, SF Writer, Fantasy Writer, Horror Writer, Poet, Artist, Collection, Anthology, Nonfiction, Reference/Bibliography, and various magazine categories.

Past judges have included [[Algis Budrys]], [[David Hartwell]], and [[Mark V. Ziesing]].

Winners have included [[Stuart David Schiff]], [[Steve Fabian]], [[Philip K. Dick]], [[Howard Waldrop]], [[Dan Simmons]], [[Joe Lansdale]], and [[Richard Matheson]].

The first awards were given in 1980.
