Lawrence M. Schoen  is an American [[fan]], author, publisher, psychologist, hypnotist, and expert in the Klingon language.  He was nominated for the [[2007 Campbell Award]] and the [[2010 Best Short Story Hugo]].  He organized the [[San Marino in 2019]] [[hoax bid]].

He is the author of ''Barsk: The Elephants' Graveyard'' (2015, [[Tor Books]]).
