View source for A Science Fiction Carol

A short (10-15 minutes) play presented at the [[Clevention]], the 1955 [[Worldcon]] and based on Dickens' "A Christmas Carol".  We do not (yet!) have any written documentation of the play, but [[Maggie Thompson]], who saw it when she was the 12-year-old daughter of science-fiction writer [[Betsy Curtis]] remembers that [[Anthony Boucher]] was a would-be writer -- a Bob Cratchit-like character.  [[Fritz Leiber]] took his manuscript. [[Sam Moskowitz]] played Scroogowitz. [[Judy Merril]] was one of the ghosts -- probably the Ghost of Science Fiction Future.  And [[Forrest J Ackerman]] was the agent who took 10% of the payment for the two-word story "The End."
