On Friday during the [[2005]] [[NASFiC]] [[CascadiaCon]], [[Chaz Boston Baden]] filed the necessary paperwork to qualify [[San Jose, CA]] as a write-in bid for the [[2007]] [[NASFiC]]; his concept was for a 3-day "Relaxa-NASFiC" to be held the weekend before the 2007 [[Worldcon]] in Yokohama, [[Nippon 2007]], with programming planned to be a Japanese culture tutorial / how-to in preparation for going to Japan the following week. However, the last-minute campaign did not succeed in overcoming the [[St. Louis in 2007]] bid.
