'''Ken Smith''' was a [[UK]] [[fan]] from Newcastle<ref>Which one isn't clear but [[Newcastle upon Tyne]] is the larger.</ref> active in the 1950s. He was a member of the [[NECON]] in 1951 but didn't attend.

There are references to a Ken Smith in [[Manchester]] from 1952 onward. The assumption is that this ''isn't'' the same person. It's a common enough name. However, it's not out of the question that he moved.
