The '''''Midlands Science-Fiction Convention Report''''' was a series of effectively [[progress reports]] issued by [[R. Rowland Johnson]] for [[Midvention 1|The Midvention]]. They were distributed  as [[riders]] to ''[[Futurian War Digest]]''. They are notable for being likely the first progress reports issued by a [[UK]] [[convention]].

There were three reports preceded by an unnumbered flyer. The [[British Fanzine Bibliograph]]y says they were all two-page but #1, the only one that's been traced as of 2024, was only a single page. It lists the committee, the venue city ([[Birmingham, UK|Birmingham]], although it would later be changed to [[Leicester, UK|Leicester]]), and that there would likely be a fee of 5/- (five shillings) although it would be collected later.
