''Middle Earth'' was a [[hoax]] [[fanzine]] created by [[Alex Lewis]].  Allegedly, it was the [[clubzine]] of [[Numenore]], a supposed [[J. R. R. Tolkien]] [[club]] in the United Arab Emirates.  Only one issue -- Volume 13 #2, January 20, 1994, 1 page -- was actually published, yet they were collected and published in an issue of ''[[Nigglings]]''.
