[[FilKONtario]] is a [[convention]] in the Mississauga, Ontario area, Canada, dedicated to [[filk]], the music of SF/fantasy fandom.

"Filk Waif" is a term honoring the first waif, [[Mary Ellen Wessels]], whom two of the [[concom]] members brought to FilKONtario at their expense because she couldn't afford it.

Having been done once, it became a [[Tradition]] to bring someone to the convention each year.
