More fully the '''Sheffield University Union Science Fiction & Fantasy Association''', it was a [[club]] at Sheffield University in Sheffield, [[UK]] which existed for a few years in the early 60s.  There was a [[clubzine]], ''Entropy'', but it quickly died.

There were only a few members at first -- too few to fill all the offices and committee positions -- so that [[Brian Jordan]], one of the founders described the club as having "a committee of eight and a membership of one."

After a short life, the club merged with the school's astronomical society and became the '''Sheffield University Science Fiction and Astronomical Society''' or '''Astrosoc'''.
