Allan Beatty (né Steven A. Beatty), an Ames, IA, fanzine fan, came into fandom as a teenager in the 1970s. He published the fanzines Fanzine Index and Aprikos for APA-50. He belonged to Apa-H.
In mundane life, he is a system analyst. He married his longtime partner, Daniel Selby, on March 3, 2023.
