Richard Hoen

(September 14, 1928-August 2, 2010)

Fan who wrote the letter that caused John W. Campbell to create the Predicted Issue of ASF. Hoen had forgotten about his letter until he was contacted by Time Magazine, which ran a short piece about it in the October 31, 1949 issue.

Hoen also had a letter published in the March, 1950, issue of Astounding.
