John Joseph Adams is an American SF and fantasy editor, critic, and publisher.
His anthology, The Living Dead (2008), was nominated for a World Fantasy Award and named one of the "Best Books of the Year" by Publishers Weekly. He worked as Assistant Editor at The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction from May, 2001 to December, 2009.
In 2010 he started Lightspeed and in November, 2011 he purchased Fantasy Magazine.

- nominated for the Best Editor, Short Form Hugo for 2011-2013, and for the Best Semiprozine Hugo 2011-2014, winning in 2014.
