VCON 22 was held May 25-27, 1997 at the Surrey Inn (now Days Inn Surrey Centre) in Surrey, BC. The GoH was Steven Brust and Stan Hyde may have been Artist GoH. The theme was "LizardoCon" and it was chaired by Palle Hoffstein. On a budget of $10,K, the convention broke even.
