University of Maryland Science Fiction Club

A club at the University of Maryland which began as an open university course on science fiction with Stephen Rynas, a university junior, as the instructor. It seems to have been founded in the late 60s. Doug Fratz published the first few issues of Thrust as its clubzine. Fl. late 60s — 1979.

It ran the Maryland series of Unicons.
