Ted Pauls

(1942 — 1997)

Fan Ted Pauls was the owner of T-K Graphics, a prominent mail-order sf bookstore beginning in the 1970s. He co-chaired Balticon 5 through Balticon 8 and was a member of the Baltimore SF Forum. He was a member of the Philadelphia in 1977 and Baltimore in '80 Worldcon bids.

He was nominated for the 1971 Best Fan Writer Hugo.

He published the long-running fanzine Kipple starting in May, 1960, and lasting for well over a hundred issues until at least 1967. He published Contact for Philadelphia in 1977. In the 50s he published Disjecta Membra and The Phantom. He was one of the publishers of Croatan House.
