Susan Cooper was a YA fantasy writer living in Massachusetts. She is best known for her The Dark Is Rising series of fantasies.
Awards, Honors and GoHships:
Filk singer Julia Eklar took Cooper's words and wrote the filk "The Dark Is Rising" which won a Pegasus Award in 1997 for Best Sorcery Song.
