(Did you mean the Albany State Science Fiction Society clubzine?)

PARSEC is a Pittsburgh-area club which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization promoting SF, fantasy and horror in literature, media and music. It puts on Confluence and publishes the SIGMA e-newsletter.

PARSEC used to be an initialism for "Pittsburgh Area Realtime Scientifiction Enthusiasts Club" -- but wisely gave that up.... The founders included Ann Cecil, Barbara Carlson and Kevin Riley and the club was founded in the mid-1990s.

Parsec Ink is its publishing arm and publishes themed anthologies annually

In September 1988, the Pittsburgh Press published an article about the "First" Pittsburgh ScienceFiction Conference.

Club
This is a club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, when and by whom it was founded, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, clubzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.

When there's a floreat (Fl.), this indicates the time or times for which we have found evidence that the club existed. This is probably not going to represent the club's full lifetime, so please update it if you can!
