OSA

The Oklahoma Scientifiction Association was a club in Oklahoma which was founded in 1936 . It planned on holding a Southwestern Fantasy Conference, but this never came to be. It apparently organized an OSA Pow-Wow.

This is a stub club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, club fanzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.
When there's a floreat (Fl.) this indicates the time or times for which the club is attested. Clubs probably lasted longer than that. Please update it!

It never attained formal organization, but continues, in near-dormant state, as an informal group of South-Westerners, having included Hart, Sullivan, the Rogerses, Speer, and McPhail, with lesser lites. A conference called Powwow was held in 1939. The OSA was talking about joining the DFF when the latter disappeared.
