Miriam (Miri) Dyches Carr Knight Lloyd began publishing in the 50s. Her first fanzine had a different name each for issue (Mental Marshmallow, Moor Park, Syzygy, Uneven, and Q.E.D.) but were all published under the imprint of Goojie Publications.
A year or two later she married Jerry Knight and while living in Poughkeepsie, NY, published A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Poughkeepsie as Miriam Knight as a fapazine. They moved to Berkeley in April 1963.
She had one final name change to Miriam Lloyd.
