Melbourne Science Fiction Conference

A convention held in Melbourne, Easter (April 12-14) 1968 which was also known as the Melbourne Minicon. Jack Wodhams was GoH. It was held at the Melbourne Science Fiction Club and the Boronia Progress Hall, a hall in the small country town of Boronia. Attendance was 80 with about 95 total members.

A high point of the convention was the appearance of Pat Terry who was flown to the convention by a one-off Pat Terry Fan Fund.

The attendees at the convention decided to form a national Australian SF Society, the Australian Science Fiction Association.
