Madeleine L'Engle

Madeleine L'Engle Camp was an American writer who wrote young adult fiction, including, most famously, A Wrinkle in Time and its sequels: A Wind in the Door, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, Many Waters, and An Acceptable Time.
