Artist Arfstrom was the last of the Weird Tales cover artists. His artwork appeared on the covers of Weird Tales from 1951 to 1954.
He began sending art to fanzines in the 1940s and collaborated at the time with Jack Gaughan.
Arfstrom came out of retirement in the 1990s to do covers for SF/fantasy publishers, including Fedogan & Bremer.
