UK fan Stanley Nuttall, a very early British fan, was a member (and ex-Chairman) of the Liverpool Science Fiction Society and the BIS, and wrote for the club fanzine Space Diversions. He was made a Knight of St. Fantony at Cytricon III in 1957. He was married to fellow fan Marj Nuttall.
