Russ Watkins was a Kentucky fan in the 1950s. He was somewhat notorious for launching the Crusade to Cleanup Fandom in 1951 targeting anti-religious and pro-sex fan writings.

He published the fanzine Dawn, was a member of NAPA, and was a member of N3F and the Louisville Dreamers.
