PulpFest 2009 (Pulpcon 38 which had been scheduled for August 14-16, 2009 in Dayton, OH was cancelled) was held July 31-August 2, 2009 in Columbus, OH and was the start of a new series after Pulpcon fell apart.
The Munsey Award winner was William Thom.
