Of Worlds Beyond, a symposium on SF writing edited by Lloyd Arthur Eshbach, was originally published in a limited edition by Fantasy Press in 1947.

The symposium consisted of an introduction (and prefaces to each article) by Eshbach and articles by seven SF authors: Edward E. Smith, Ph.D., John W. Campbell, Jr., L. Sprague de Camp, Robert A. Heinlein, Jack Williamson, A. E. van Vogt, and John Taine. Photographs of the authors were also included.

The book was reprinted by Advent in 1964 in both cloth and paperback editions and went through several printings.
