Necon 5 was a convention held in 1984 at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI. The GoHs were Alan Ryan, Whitley Streiber, Steve Gervais, and Bob Lavoie. The toastmaster was Craig Shaw Gardner, the Roastee was Douglas E. Winter and it was chaired by Bob Booth.
