Manse Brackney

Minneapolis fan Manson Brackney, called Manse and Brack (born Emmert Manson Brackney, Jr., in Nebraska), was a founder of the Minneapolis Fantasy Society. He was a friend of Poul Anderson's, and Anderson tuckerized variations of Brackney’s name for the hero of several of his books.
Manse attended the 1942 Michiconference.
He seems to have gafiated after college and became a dentist. He was an Army captain during World War II.
