SF fan and artist Lyne-Marie Masamitsu was president of the National Fantasy Fan Federation (N3F) in 1997 when she resigned her presidency over a conflict with one of the members of the club's Directorate. She resigned her membership in the club at the same time.
Masamitsu was a recipient of the club's Franson Award and Kaymar Award at the time of her resignation.
In 2006 she was awarded one of the club's Neffy Awards for best fan artist.
