Louis Kuslan

Louis Kuslan was an early fan, and the brother of Gertrude Kuslan with whom he shared a lot of fanac. He owned the auto, Empress of FooFoo.

They lived in West Haven, Connecticut and published the fanzine Cosmic Tales in the late 1930s. After Cosmic Publications, their publishing house was LuGerKus. The published the apazines FAPA Review (a one-shot) and Nucleus

Both were charter members of The National Fantasy Fan Federation in 1941, and Louis ran unsuccessfully for its Board.

A tribute to Louis and his sister Trudy by Jon D. Swartz appeared in the December, 2016 (Volume 75, Number 12) issue of The National Fantasy Fan.
