A pro writer, editor, and publisher who edited F&SF from mid-1991 through mid-1997. Along with her husband, Dean Wesley Smith, she operated Pulphouse Publishing and Pulphouse Magazine for many years. She also writes mysteries, romances and mainstream fiction.
