Kev Smith is an active British fan from the mid-70s to the mid-80s, producing such fanzines as Drilkjis and Another Bloody Fanzine (both with Dave Langford) and Dot, and editing a 1979 fanthology of British fanwriting named Mood 70 for Seacon '79. From 1980 to 1982 he was editor of Vector, the critical journal of the British Science Fiction Association. He won TAFF in 1982 and was FGoH at Plergbcon that year. He also edited several issues of Sfinx in 1973-74 as part of the Oxford University Speculative Fiction Group. He chaired Skycon, Eastercon 29 in 1978.
