John Newman is a UK fan who was a research chemist and author and who collaborated with Kenneth Bulmer on a long series of science articles for New Worlds and Nebula Science Fiction. He published Hints on Stencil Cutting with Ken Slater, was one of the organizers of Whitcon the first Eastercon in 1948.
