(April 12, 1908 -- May 6, 1981)

A fan living in Tennessee who became active in fandom in 1949. In 1969 she chaired the DeepSouthCon 7 (DSC) in Chattanooga, TN. She was also a member of ISFCC, TLMA and SFG.

Member / Officer National Fantasy Fan Federation (N3F) and edited The National Fantasy Fan in 1964. She was an editor of Tightbeam. Winner of the 1962 Kaymar Award and the 1971 Rebel Award.

There was a short eulogy of her by Don Franson in File 770 26, p. 4.

Her photo appears on page 15 of Harry Warner's history of fandom in the 1950s, A Wealth of Fable (SCIFI Press, 1992).
