Janie Lamb was a Tennessee fan who became active in fandom in 1949. In 1969, she chaired DeepSouthCon 7 (DSC) in Chattanooga, TN. She was also a member of ISFCC, TLMA and SFG.

She was an Officer and very active in the National Fantasy Fan Federation (N3F) and edited The National Fantasy Fan in 1964. She was an editor of Tightbeam.
