He helped form ConCertino and chaired ConCertino 1992, and ran or co-ran filk at a number of Boskones, Noreascon II, MagiCon, and Noreascon 3. He was one of the four founders of Interfilk and was a member of Critical Mass. For many years, he taped filk at conventions -- often also providing general technical support for the convention.
