Taking over from the Science Fiction Forum, for more than thirty years, ICON Science Fiction, Inc. has been fostering education and exploration in science and technology by harnessing America's fascination with SF and fantasy.

Each year ICON has hosted a three-day festival designed to encourage literacy, creativity and interest in science and technology through science fiction and its related genres called I-CON, short for "Island Convention."

ICON gives awards in several categories.

In 2014, ICON Science Fiction, Inc. held a new convention called LI-CON.

Group Website
This is a group page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the group formed, its members, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, external links to the group's website, etc.

When there's a floreat (Fl.), this indicates the time or times for which we have found evidence that the group existed. This is probably not going to represent the group's full lifetime, so please update it if you can!
