I-CON was a three-day festival started in 1982 and designed to encourage literacy, creativity and interest in science and technology through science fiction and its related genres. The name is short for "Island Convention." It has given out the I-CON Sam Moskowitz Award, the Raymond Z. Gallun Award, and the Iconosphere Award.

It was run by ICON Science Fiction. The convention was not held from 2013 to 2016 due to funding difficulties, and although it was revived in 2017, it was not held in 2018 or 2019, and as of 2018, the group's website no longer existed.
