Harvey Greenblatt was a Philadelphia fan who found fandom as a young teenager in the mid-30s. He was a member of the Boy's Science Fiction Club and then the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society in the 1930s.
He was killed in France in 1944 while serving as a sergeant in the United States Army.
