Halcon 10 was held in 1987 at the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel in Halifax, NS.
This was the last Halcon. One attendee later reported that
the last Halcon got a lot of members in their late teens. One apparently freaked out on something Saturday
night, while in one of the elevators near the 12th floor (nowhere near the con, actually); nevertheless, when the cops came, the con took the brunt of the hotel's reaction .
A similar name was picked when a Halifax convention was revived in 2010 as more of a pop culture convention.
