(???? -- )

A fan and filker in the Boston area, he has for many years been one of the leaders of filk in Boston. A mainstay of MASSFILC, he has been president, secretary and webmaster. He also chaired ConCertino '99 and ConCertino 2009. He has produced many filk songbooks and edited the second edition of the NESFA Hymnal, the Pegasus Winners, Volume 1 and a number of others. He is a composer as well as a performer. Perhaps his greatest accomplishments have been in connecting people: He fostered strong ties between MASSFILC and NESFA and between US and German filkers. He was inducted into the Filk Hall of Fame in 2004.

In 2015 he published Tomorrow's Songs Today, a book-length history of the filk music movement, including chapters on filk in Canada, the UK, Germany, and internationally.
