Fornost was a branch of the [[Mythopoeic Society]] and of the [[American Tolkien Society]] located in the northern suburbs of [[Detroit]].  Fl. late 70s.  It published the [[clubzines]] ''[[Fornost Freedom Fighter]]'' and ''[[Notes from the Fornost Underground]]''.
