Fanatics

A sercon club in the Oakland, CA which was formed in the mid-60s. It met for a time at Chelsea Quinn Yarbro's house and published a clubzine The Voice of the Gryphon.

It became visible to fandom at large when some of its members drove the shuttle bus at Baycon, the 1968 Worldcon in Oakland. It became less sercon as it got older, and it lasted until about 1980.
