Eleanor Atwood Arnason is an SF author living in Minneapolis.

She was one of the editors of the fanzine, All Mimsy.

Arnason's earliest published story, "A Clear Day in the Motor City", appeared in New Worlds in 1973. The anthropological focus in her work has led many to compare her fiction to that of Ursula K. Le Guin.

She has been a member of The Workshop, the Aardvark Writing Group, The Lady Poetesses from Hell, The Lady Poetesses from Hell, and The Wyrdsmiths.
