(February 22, 1930 – January 17, 2008)

Edward Dentinger Hoch was an American writer, mainly of detective fiction. Although he wrote several novels, he was primarily known for his vast output of over 950 short stories, some of which were SF.

SF and mystery fans June Moffatt and Francis M. Nevins, Jr. compiled a complete Edward D. Hoch Bibliography published by Moffatt House in 2008.
