Richard Dennis Ellington was a Bay Area fan living in New York. He was a member of the New York SF Circle, the Fanoclasts, ESFA, the NYCon II committee, and the (Second) Futurian Society of New York.

Fanzines include FIJAGH (for OMPA), Metrofan, and Mailing Comments (for OMPA). With Pat Ellington, he published Kim Chi for FAPA.

He contributed the article, "Me To Your Leader Take" to All in Color for a Dime (1970), edited by Lupoff & Thompson.
