The DMSFFS is a club in Des Moines, IA, which sponsors DemiCon. It meets twice a month. Until 2018, the organization, founded in 1989, was known as the Des Moines Science Fiction Society, Ltd., a fraternal non-profit. Along with the name change, it was reformed as a charity non-profit.
